What the Critics Say

"The Q5 has brisk acceleration from a standstill, and you'll have no problem getting it up to highway and passing speeds. Both transmissions are smooth, but the seven-speed dual-clutch has particularly fast shifts that make for a more engaging drive." -- U.S. News & World Report

"The Audi Q5 has been among the most popular compact luxury crossover SUVs for years, and with good reason. It combines a spacious, comfortable and hushed cabin with Audi's traditionally strong cabin quality and in-dash smarts." -- Roadshow by CNET

Audi Q5 Performance

Proven Performance

Standard power for the Audi Q5 comes in the form of a 2.0-liter turbocharged TFSI® engine which gives you a balanced 261 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Its inspired performance can rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in just 5.7 seconds to help add some adrenaline to your daily commute. Iconic quattroⓇ all-wheel drive with ultraⓇ technology combines performance and efficiency by powering the front wheels as often as possible while retaining the ability to send power and grip to the tires which need it most. Choose from a selection of five driver-selectable modes in Audi drive select to adjust steering, throttle response, and transmission shifts of your Q5 for a customized driving experience. When equipped with an available trailer hitch provision with a 440-pound tongue weight, the Audi Q5 is able to tow up to an impressive 4,400 pounds.

Q5 Plug-In Hybrid

Infused with an electric motor combined with a traditional TFSI® gasoline engine, the Audi Q5 Plug-In Hybrid blends power and versatility with unparalleled efficiency. When EV mode is selected, the Q5 Plug-In Hybrid has a range of 23 miles that gives buyers the option to drive without any tailpipe emissions. As a result of the TFSI® and EV powertrain state, the Q5 PHEV is rated at an EPA-estimated 61 MPGe. Similar to the electrified Audi e-tron, the Q5 PHEV comes standard with a compact charging system and can be charged at any SAE J1772 charging station. Plug-in-specific applications in the myAudi app allow you to remotely monitor or customize charging functions to suit your needs. Audi anticipates that the Q5 PHEV may be eligible for both federal and/or state tax incentives.

Audi Q5 Interior

Tech-Focused Interior

Take a seat inside the premium cabin of the Audi Q5 and you'll find yourself surrounded by a collection of groundbreaking tech features which improve your daily commute. Select the available Audi virtual cockpit to experience a fully-digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster that allows you to customize information including navigation, audio, phone, and Google Street View™ or Google Earth™ screen options. Optional MMIⓇ touch with handwriting-recognition technology gives you the ability to "write" your desired entry as opposed to fumbling around with buttons. Standard heated eight-way power front seats featuring seat memory and four-way power lumbar adjustments for the driver provide supportive comfort. A cavernous 53.1 cubic feet of cargo space comes from lowering the standard split-folding 40/20/40 rear seatbacks. These seatbacks also feature adjustable recline, allowing you to transport a mix of passengers and cargo on your next weekend getaway.

Advanced Driver-Assistive Safety

No other luxury SUV prioritizes the safety of both you and your passengers quite like the Audi Q5. Acting as an additional set of eyes, the Audi suite of advanced driver assistance technologies keep you safe from the unexpected on the roadways. Standard Audi pre senseⓇ city is able to detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 MPH, prepare you for an imminent collision, and initiate emergency braking. Relying on radar sensors and optical warnings, Rear cross traffic assist works by alerting you to approaching vehicles and suggesting to stop the vehicle if necessary. Found on the Q5 Prestige, Audi park steering assist has the ability to measure gaps and automatically steer into them. These technologies can prepare you for an imminent collision by partially closing the sunroof and side windows along with pretensioning the front safety belts.
