What's New for 2026

A new generation of the Q5 debuted just last year, so the changes for 2026 have been minor. The first is a reorganization of the MMI menus to make them more intuitive and easier to use. Similarly, physical scroll wheels have replaced the touch controls on the steering wheel, making them easier to operate without taking your eyes off the road.

Iconic quattro® all-wheel drive combines performance and efficiency by powering the front wheels as often as possible while retaining the ability to send power and grip to the tires that need it most. Choose from a selection of four driver-selectable modes in Audi drive select to adjust steering, throttle response, and transmission shifts of your Q5 for a customized driving experience. When equipped with an available trailer hitch provision with a 440-pound tongue weight, the Audi Q5 is able to tow up to an impressive 4,400 pounds.

The Q5 is able to detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 MPH, prepare you for an imminent collision, and initiate emergency braking. Relying on radar sensors and optical warnings, fear cross traffic assist works by alerting you to approaching vehicles and suggesting that you stop the vehicle if necessary. Found on the select trims, Audi park steering assist has the ability to measure gaps and automatically steer into them. These technologies can prepare you for an imminent collision by partially closing the sunroof and side windows along with pretensioning the front safety belts.
